Do you honestly think they'll have so few boxes that they cannot supply everyone who applies on day one?

Will they have enough installers to get everyone up and running in time for the world cup though. If this is why people are in a rush to order something they haven't seen yet then maybe getting in as early as possible is not such a bad idea

 Yeah I had quick look, but there's so much bumph, kack and general misinformation that on first glance I wasn't sure.

Better to pipe up and join the party late than stand silently waiting for someone to make a goof and then bury them.

Isn't there a deal when you order all the SD channels with HD as a new customer.

I think people on here are seriously over estimating demand.
the extra tenner a month will kill off a huge percentage of possible subscribers.
not many people on partial packages will go for hd and those who are on the full package gain only artsworld and PQ for a tenner a month.
how many that are fanatacal about the world cup will watch it at home?
BBC HD is free but you need the hardware to see it on.
End of june it's all over and your lumbered with a £299 + £120 spend on top of normal spend .
    Joe average won't wear it.
