Slightly annoying news is the forthcoming 2 disc SE of Day of the dead has been censored. For some reason AB have used some parts of the Japanese LD release for the New dvd transfer because of this some of the swearing has been overdubbed just like it is on the Japanese LD.
Very disapointing as AB said they had found the original Neg's for this new transfer.
Apart from this minor problem the SE is superb and I'll still be buying it.

I'm getting confused with all the classic zombie films I've seen recently!

Watched the one where a single zombie is found on a boat

Patricia Tallmanin a house, zoms attack the house

The one in the shopping mall

Think I've seen Day of the Dead- what scenario is that played in?

    Oh yeah Evil Dead 1,2 & 3.

    And Deadalive (Braindead) :)

And newer ones- Resident Evil, 28 Days.

Ah thanks D, haven't seen Day of the Dead, then. I've got the one with the bloke who plays Criton's dad in Farscape- looks a modern one (they've got a zombie in barrels or something)

    Zombie flesheaters
Dawn of the Dead (the best one IMO)

Day is the one set in a military bunker that's beseiged by the zombs (sequel to Dawn itself a sequel to Night ) Probably the coldest , one of the grimmest pretty nasty realistic gore...lots of guts falling out etc. Very impressive zombies effects wise. Not very funny unlike Dawn which is a blast!

I am too looking for Dawn and Day soon, when in HMV i saw they had a Directors cut of Dawn for just £5.99, it's the one with the green writing with a zombie with his eyes lit up.
    Is this one any good?

Theres another review up at dvdmaniacs see Here
The review does detail some of the audio changes. NOTE some gunshot sounds have also been altered.

Dawn of the dead there is a 3 disc SE coming from Anchor bay early next year that will include both the Romero Cut and the Fast action Argento cut - just hope AB dont cock that release up.

Night of the living dead - Get the R1 Millennium edition a great package.
