Sticking them in tins and releasing them as many times as they can, I reckon.
Dunno about the Halloween film, but the Dead Trliogy looks like coming out next year in a lovely new edition. Don't know exact date or specs, though, but someone will be along soon who will.

    Last I read....

Halloween is still in the works, supposedly adding a few extras, and an audio commentary. Likely dts remix

Day of the Dead is slated for a 2 disc release with cast/crew commentaries, a 5.1ex and dtsES remix, and a 2nd disc of other related guff

Dawn of the Dead is supposed to be released in a few different versions:rolleyes: . There'll be a set with both the "directors" extended cut and the original theatrical cut 5.1EX and dtsES remixes, cast/crew commentaries a 3rd disc of other related guff...

and then another version which will have the Euro "Zombi" version re-edited by Dario Argento, suposedly remixed, with commentary etc included as a seperate 4th disc.

Nothing's been set in stone yet and no concrete release dates have been finalised either. It's all in hand.
I'm sure this won't be the last time Anchor Bay tackles any of these films in a so-called "definitive" release though
