:lease: Whats the best way of connecting my Denon 2910 to a Denon 2805 Amp?

I have cables for both and was planning on using 5.1 analogue interconnects for cd and coaxial digital for dvd.

Any opinions and views would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forums

That's the right way, you have to keep the digital as you'll not get 5.1 sound without it.

You could lose the analogue and use the DACs in the amp to decode stereo - try both ways with CD and see which you prefer.

Thats great, one thing still puzzling me though. I have six outputs on the dvd for analogue (5.1) but 8 inputs on the amp (7.1) which do i connect to which?
