So I've set myself up with a Panasonic PW6 with SCART interface card, DVD player, and Freeview box. Except I forgot to check and now find that there's no Freeview hereabouts. So while DVDs are gorgeous, I can't actually watch TV. :(

    This is not good.

I need an analogue tuner, preferably cheap. Would any old VCR with SCART do or should I go for the Panasonic TY42TM6H tuner card?

    hi quartz,

you could try to speak to an aerial man from the yellow pages or something, as im not supposed to have freeview where i am either but the aerial man sorted me out with a new roof top aerial and booster and now my freeview is :)
a local aerial guy should know whether freeview would work. should cost about £100 to have an aeiral fitted or u could do it urself for much cheaper if ur not scared of heights :)

Luton's in a dip - I've found that lack of Freeview is widespread round here.
