Hi, I've just aquired this old sat, to replace my pace which bit the dust, to watch the German channels, and I'm having major problems trying to tune it in. When I think I've saved a channel to a channel No I can turn the sat off and on in a short space of time say half hour and it stays there, but anything longer and it's gone.
I,m trying to do this via the front panel as I have not got a remote,
    Any ideas?

As I recall, there's no "store" button on the front panel. You have to use the remote control. You may be able to order one from satcure if they still stock them.

    thanks Fernsehman.
There is no store button on the front, just a "preset" button, which I hoped was the same. Never mind.

Actually, now that you mention it, I'm fairly sure that Amstrad did use "Preset" for "Store". You press "Preset" and the display flashes. Alter the settings and then press "Preset" again?

    Really taxing my memory!
