Can anyone suggest boxes to look at for the purpose of recording TV to HDD using purely Analogue receiver(s). (IF such things exist)

I don't want to go down the PC route.

Apologies if too obvious a question.

Any DVD Recorder with a HDD will do this. If you look around, there are some Pioneers (420, 520, 720) which are due to be replaced soon so are available at significant discount.

Or if you want full PVR features I believe the only option is a TiVo. The UK Thomson TiVo units have a built in analogue TV tuner so should do exactly what you want.

all HDD DVD recorders will do it, JVC make a an range of HDD recorders, B&O make an HDD only recorder. Or aTIVO if you can find one.
