I have a digital sound level meter from Radio Shack. Everyone tells me the analog is better. Can someone tell me why? Will I get the same results using the digital?
    Thanks

You will get the same readings, but many people, like me, find it easier to watch a moving needle rather than a digital readout. I always found needle-type VU meters easier to read on cassette decks as well.

Mind you, i like old Garrard turntables so i am probably living in the past and am best ignored anyway! :D
