    Hello,

I went to look at Hoya filters earlier today, just to price up etc.

When I asked how much a filter was the guy behind the counter at my local 'indie' camera shop asked me.

    What type, a, b or c? :lesson:

and said that they actually stock

    ' Hoya skylight filters'

which are technically the same thing, in his opinion :lesson:.

As I was only browsing can someone advise me what would be best bet for me as well as the size as I am not sure if 52 or 55 will be best. (Panasonic AE300 PJ).

I have used the FAQ but I cannot ascertain a definate answer.

Price seems reasonable though - just £9.99 compared to £24.99 at Jessops.

    As always, thanks in advance.

Well did you tell him you wanted an FLD filter?
That is a filter for correcting colour cast of fluorescent lights on day light film I believe.
