    Still an interesting read from the point of view of the writer being in the US and of the difference of audio quality between them and the rest of the world.

    Directional only speakers (especially those kinds of electrostatics) are a waste because I nor anyone else will sit perfectly still, head motionless, for hours to listen to music. I want speakers that sound good anywhere I am, not ones that sound drastically different depending on my relative location

    Yeah, based on that he must like BOSE speakers ... :D

    Difficult to read, and mad as a box of frogs in places, BUT he does make some good points. Especially in terms of the relative prices of studio and audiophile speakers. Also some of his points about optical disk transports.

    interesting, but after a few paragraphs, he got repetative.....
