Just finished watching An Audience with Al Murray the Pub Landlord.
Outstanding & did you notice the writers credits at the end, just one.........Al Murray
I cannot belive on nearly every channel at just after 9 there was somthing I wanted to watch. Ended up watching We Were Soldiers. but I almost watched this I'm sure they will repeat it some time.
I'm going to add the 2 Al Murray dvds to my profiler wishlist.
Very funny most i have laughed for ages since little britain has finished
Un P.C material like this is just what we need every so often. Great stuff!
It was an okay show, as comedy routines/audience-participation stuff goes, but Al Murray is usually much better than this. Hell, even his Pub Landlord comedy show on Sky 1 was funnier than this stuff.
I was hoping for so much more. What a disappointment. Did anyone else think that it had been edited by ITV1? I get the impression this was much longer (maybe 75-90 minutes) and what we got were highlights.
he wasn't bad didn't deserve an audience with though, dvd would be pointless too.
Thats normally the case (I remember them showing an 'repeated but extended' edition of the first 'Ken Todd Audience with' ). Sorry to say I missed Al's big night and hope that its repeated soon.
Big Al was on Radio1 with Dave and Chappers on Saturday. Really funny interview, anyway im sure he said they had around 100 mins of material that was edited down to the 45mins required for the schedule.
