    Hi all, whilst not condoning the practice, I thought it would be quite interesting to see what movies are being the most downloaded over torrents, so I've been compiling a 'top ten movie torrents' this year, to compare to Cinema Releases and DVD Releases... If you want to take a gander it can be found at Top 10 Films - note that there are NO links to torrents here, just the names of the films.

    I don't really know how this thread is supposed to be taken.

    1/ It has a piracy theme.
    2/ It has an outside link.
    3/ How is it beneficial to anyone?

    I have to add the comment that your thread does condon the practice.

    Calm down people. I hardly think he joined over a year ago and has waited all this time to spam the forums.

    I suppose it is interesting in as far as seeing whether there is a difference between downloads and other charts. Do people that don't mind breaking the law and watching poor copies of films have simlar tastes to normal people?

    Sorry - remove the thread if it offends. I just thought it interesting to see the popularity of movies from a different angle. Re the piracy angle, I agree with what you're saying, and that's exactly why no links are posted to any torrents anywhere, neither to any sites where you can get them - I don't want to condone the actions of some, and I have my own burgeoning DVD/BD collection, but I think this gives another glimpse of the current popularity of movies, from a global perspective [that sounds arrogant I know, but there you go].

    It's not spam IMO, he doesn't seem to have too much to gain from us viewing the site. If this was his first post then you would be sure he was a spammer but he has been on the forums for a year. I think you may have gone somewhat OTT personally.

    FYI;):rolleyes::rolleyes::D:-

    Their-

    –pronoun
    1. a form of the possessive case of they used as an attributive adjective, before a noun: their home; their rights as citizens; their departure for Rome.
    2. (used after an indefinite singular antecedent in place of the definite masculine form his or the definite feminine form her): Someone left their book on the table. Did everyone bring their lunch?
