    Does the Amstrad Sky+ box have RGB passthrough ?

    I am connecting my system as follows:

    Pioneer 575 -> Sky+ -> TV

    When I swtich on the DVD, the picture switches off ...

    Thanks.

    Yes it does.
    I would expect the Pioneer being first in the chain to override the SKY+ when it switched on, wouldn't it make more sense to have the SKY+ RGB scart to feed the DVD recorder then onto the TV?

    Yes - I wish that that DVD player had two scarts, but it only has one. I think the only other option for me for 2 x RGB inputs would be to use a scart switch.

    I'm going to check later to ensure that RGB is switched on on the pioneer, and take it from there ...
