I am considering upgrading the HD in my Amstard Sky + box to a 160GB, since I read about the sound drop out problems on the Thomson 160 boxes.

Having read the the relevant threads most people either choose:-

    1) - Maxtor 160GB 5400 RPM 4R160OLO-QV

    OR

    2) - Samsung 160GB 7200 RPm 1604N

I have heard of a lot of success with the Matrox in Pace V2 boxes, but that the Amstrad is more problematic.

Which one is best to go for?

    Cheers.
