"Syntax Error B" was my fave message from my old Amstrad CPC 464... Thats when I usually say a few words of praise after waiting 5 mins for a game to load ^_^

Are you sure its a 3" drive? I thought they only came in 3.5", 5", 12" etc etc. If its a 3.5" drive then its easy, just pop down to your local PC store. Had a quick browse for any 3" drive cleaners and found nothing...

No, it had a proprietary 3" drive (shudder!).
You could try this guy: Amstrad Specialist.
If you get no joy there you might have to try dismantling the thing and going at it with a cotton bud and some tape head cleaner.

lol I didn't know that... The CPC 464 just had a tape deck and it was a pain to load up anything. Hopefully the link that Lechacal provided would do the job since I'm out of links.

Harrier Attack ::saluts:: Love that game. I remember taking control of the plane and having my sister as the co-pilot to hit the spacebar to drop bombs ^_^

Loved BombJack, Oh Mummy, IK+, Kung Fu, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Dizzy and Smash TV just to name a few...

Commando used to be great!

Laser Squad was the dogs nuts though, never beaten for multiplayer strategy fun!

Yeah I had a CPC464 with a green screen purchased from my local Boots (yes the chemist). I managed to blag one out of my parents after telling them it would really help with my school work. Needless to say it didn't and spent hours playing games like Footballer of the year, 180 (best darts game ever) and Outrun (worst conversion on any system)
