    Hi folks,
    couldn't decide the most appropriate place for this post, but as a PJ caused my dilemma, thought someone here may have had similar issues.

    I've just received an Optoma HD72 - and I am extremely delighted with the results just firing it at my slatted blackout blind - however the intention is to ceiling mount and project onto a Gray Wolf 2.

    My problem is that I have a TV in the room too, for day-to-day (read "kids") use, all of the kit (dvd, sky, xbox, gcube) which goes via a Yamaha V657 Component Out. I want to easily redirect the component out between PJ & TV. Run to TV is ~1m; to PJ it's ~13m.

    I was suggested a simple phono splitter on each component out, ( http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=1&ModuleNo=44057&doy=18m8 )but even with PJ unconnected, the TV picture immediately deteriorated. Next idea is one of these :
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=33143&&source=14&doy=7m8
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=35620&criteria=Audio/Video Accesories&doy=18m8

    Anyone tried this - or have a better suggestion?

    Many thanks,
    Heeb.

    I'm also in the same boat. My sources are component video so need a 1 in 2 out device.

    I've seen one of these http://www.letsautomate.com/11625.cfm? but would like to find something a bit cheaper. Our budget is tight at the mo.
