Mods if this is in the wrong place then I apologise. Just after a qucik response and this seems the closest catorgrey.
Having set up my speakers and amp to the best of my abilities I have just heard about two discs which might help me get nearer perfection, the Digital Video Essentials disc and the AViA disc.

Basically does anybody have any experience of these two discs either individually or together. And did they improve your system.

Any help appreciated as buynig b4 you buy is not an option.;)

I've got the Digital Video Essentials disks (PAL & NTSC) and although its easy to get lost navigating through them they do help to get the best out of your system (both sound & picture) with a little bit of work. You really do need to also get an SPL metre to get the speaker levels correct.

Thanks for that Mark. Any suggestions on where to get a sound meter. Dont want to spend to much as I guess (hope) I will only be using it once

Don't you believe it. Once you start playing around you're in a never ending cycle of tinkering and even upgrades :suicide:

A cheap SPL can be got from Here for £25

Sadly Keene do not have any at the mo, I have had one on order for some time but there is a problem with the supplier, they emailed last week to say that they cannot give an estimate of when they will be available. There are suppliers with stock for £50 but that is a bit steep!
