I’m looking at install two ADX Maximus bass shakers onto my sofa for movie viewing.
Do I need a specific LFE amp with a crossover setting, or can I use a regular 2 channel amp please?
I have a Cambridge Audio CXA60 (complete overkill I know) that I solely use for vinyl listening and wondered if I could use it to power two of these shakers. It has x2 speaker outputs so was hoping to wire the shakers in parallel to ‘Speaker B’ and then only have the amp switched on when I watch Blurays (it would be off for regular TV viewing).
CXA60
Basically, I want to avoid buying another amp and having to squeeze it into the rack.
