Yes 20 years on this is still an excellent movie. Good script, groundbreaking FX's and a superb group of extras.(The commentary is very amusing)

Why do they not make movies like this anymore?

Do yourself a favour and buy this!!!!

    Hi All,

Wahey - I'm back online at last! Anyway, I agree with the above comments. AAWIL is one superb mindf*** of a movie, that is both downright hilarious, and superbly gory.

Despite Landis making the film 20 years ago, I still think that the werewolf transformation scene is one of the best I've ever seen!

Can't wait to get this on DVD!!!

I too put this on as soon as it arrived. I used to have an old VHS version, but the sound quality was a bit cack. The surround really helps to bring the movie alive, like the bit where the boys are on the moor and being stalked - you can hear the growling move around the room. Superb!

For me, the best ironic moment of the entire film has to be during the transformation where we get a close up on Micky Mouse, apparently unmoved by all thats going on around him, for a few seconds.

    Excellent direction.

    "Thats Enough!!"
