Thanks for the review, Cas. I didn't find the colour scheme over the top, or bright. I thought it was a little bit subdued if anything, but natural. In some scenes there's like a "yellow hue", but i think that's the natural light of the day ?
It's got a filmic feel, with lots of in your face close ups. ( of faces ! ) Not the best film i've seen, but not the worst either ! It's worth adding to your 4K collection.

Tom Cruise is a top actor, he just needs to stay in front of the camera and have a good script to work from.

Haven't seen this yet, but looking forward to it.

Watched this on Blu Ray last night. Got to say, really enjoyed it, a solid 7.5/10 for me, although probably only a one watch.

I really enjoyed this movie , very thought provoking and totally makes you think that none of this is true but after research a lot is quite accurate .

The sound is booming and really engaging with the 70’s and 80’s vibe .

I thought the picture was striking and made for a filmic style back in the day piece . Over the top colours but really went with the whole vibe

I thought Tom cruise was great as usual although I thought the whole cast ensemble was very fitting .

A good and Surprisingly solid movie well with a rewatch as well.

I caught this movie knowing absolutely nothing about it, or even that it existed, and thought it was brilliant. In my top 5 movies for the year.

Nice review Cas and I'm also looking forward to seeing this in my new cinema room. Was a bit of a blind buy but I'm glad I got the steelbook.

It was a good movie, but got a deja vu feeling about it. Felt like it has been done before. The picture quality was up and down. No Reference material i think, as the colors of the movie was off in the scenes in South America.

Although I only have it on blu ray I can at least comment on the DTS:X soundtrack, which is pretty good. There are some excellent ambient sounds above and the aircraft action scenes are very immersive but I thought the score was awful and overbearing.

As for the film itself it was well worth the purchase, I though Cruise was pretty good, as indeed were all the cast. 7/10.

      Enjoyed the 4k uhd.

However, the packaging states the UHD has Dolby Vision but it only comes up with HDR 10 when played from Oppo 203 to LGB7B.

Not sure if the packaging is wrong or there is an issue with the disc being detected as DV
