There's been a clear move towards more better channels on Freesat of late with Discovery launching a suite of their quest quest red D max channels & +1s including HD & epl highlights with Quest HD / Sony's more polished revamp with new movie channels & upgraded content, Premier Sports Freesports HD, Paramount joining Freesat etc.
& now with so many mergers, CBS & Viacom have (er re) merged ViacomCBS merger completes
So OK they may have plans with their free to air channels on Freesat & we don't know what that will mean to Freesat (apart from channel 5). So it could mean consolidation &/or cost savings etc. - those boring but necessary things..
But what if the mostly classic movie channel AMC, which has had an odd & almost invisible placement with BT Sports gets the Freesat treatment like Paramount did.
