    Quick question.

The broadband where I live is crap. Try to watch BBC iPlayer in the evening and it keeps stuttering and pausing.

The only way to watch it is to download stuff on to a PC and watch it after it's downloaded.

Will you be able to do this with Amazon? Or is it a case of, if you can't watch it streamed live, forget it?

You can in the US according to this (but only selected titles & only to the Kindle Fire (&HD).
Amazon.com Help: Download Prime Instant Video Titles

Will probably need to wait until it launches in the UK to find out what you can do over here, but I'd say it's not promising for you :thumbsdow

    Cheers.

One more question. I see you can download films to buy from Amazon in the US - presumably this is coming to the UK, too. I've never used iTunes or anything else to download video.

If you download a film, what then? Is it tied to the device (iPad, Kindle, PC) to which it was downloaded? Or can you move it from one device to another?

    Thank again.

On iTunes your video purchases are tied to 3 (or maybe 5) computers (you can also unauthorise computers to free up spaces) & you can transfer it to any number of apple devices (iphone, ipad, ipod etc) that you own. Rentals I think you can only view on 1 device.

I don't know what Amazon does.
