Just recieved an email from Amazon regarding thier Sale, had a quick browse and as usual a few TV sets stand out as the sale price make them a few pound cheaper than DVDPacific, who would be the cheapest.

    Bones - Season 1 ~£16.30
    Space: Above And Beyond ~£16.30
    Over There - Season 1 ~£13.80
    Dead Like Me - Season 2 ~£13.80
The Lone Gunmen - Complete Series ~£13.80

Also, not a TV Set but:

The Complete Omen Collection (5 Films on 6 Discs, Inc 2006 Remake) ~£17.40

(All prices include standard delivery :) )

Plenty of others, NYPD Blues, Shields, Buffy & Angels, Dark Angel, New Out Limits, Lost In Space but all only work out a couple of pound cheaper than HMV and with Vouchers and faster delivery, probably better ordering from over here. :smashin:

This R1 set is known to be faulty with a lot of batches (happened with me twice) - one of the flippers has the same content on both sides; so you lose about two or three episodes and the associated extras

Odered the Omen collection - uberbargain!

btw those Outer Limits (new series) DVDs are the themed collections; I'd definitely recommend Season 1 (the only full season available) - cost just under £11 delivered from Amazon.com last month, has now gone up a bit

I got mine from Play when it came out and it was fine. Great series.

I am glad S:A&B is down again. I recommend that out of all of them.

    Is Bones worth getting?

If I could only buy one of those series it would be Bones though i'm waiting for a sub £15 price tage first.

I've not seen Above & Beyond so I hope it's not one of the few Sci-Fi shows I can't abide, at the moment there are only three of those - Babylon 5, Earth Final Conflict and Farscape.

Agreed, Missed it last time it was down so an early Christmas gift seeing reduced again :smashin: . Its the only one I have ordered, although tempted by Omen

I think its one of the finest Sci-Fi shows, I put it up there with Battlestar. I was never a big fan of Earth or Farscape :D

I off to sleep to be sure of santa coming  Merry Christmas to evryone

worth it for the original trilogy and the Omen Legacy complete documentary (rather than installments across the R2 DVDs of the trilogy) - the straight to video Omen IV is cack made years later, screws with continuity and hardly any connection to the earlier trilogy, and the Omen remake is er... well... (just think of the Psycho remake ;))

It is cheap but take into the account of postage then it isn't far off the usual £14.99 sale price of the R2's.

got the lot for $66 as if you bought 2 sets (1&3) you got an extra $5 off

hmmm the only thing i'm not sure of will be the end cost with exchange rates etc

£10 would be! but its nearly £14 with delivery, and with these being £15.99 at HMV, probably just as good a deal to order there using vouchers.:smashin:

Just seen this rather nice set over at amazon.com - Jurassic Park - it can be had cheaper elsewhere (like amazon UK marketplace -Here for just under 13 quid) but no where else had all the nice pictures of it.
