Amazon.co.uk / Amazon Jersey Bargain thread - Please post any Amazon bargains here

Distinguished Member
Well the title says it all, you find any please post and i'll stick 'em in here. See any wrong prices then give me a kick up the arse and i'll update the thread. Not a lot posted here at the moment so come on you guys find me some bargains!, the problem is Amazon often gets beaten in the £6-£10 price range due to that damn postage fee :suicide:

The Fine Print

Couple of things to consider with Amazon.co.uk is that there is minimum postage charge of £1.45, spending over £15?, well then you qualify for the free super saver delivery option so it's worth bulk buying your dvd's or combining the order with a CD, game etc. Also worth mentioning is that customers of Amazon's dvd rental service will receive an additional 10% off dvd's.

hi, i'm new to this forum! :hiya:

blahdvd offers this dvd for £5.99 (no postage)

Yep that's what I mean Amazon is actually quite poor for the £5 - £10 price range, especially with the postal fee.

A couple more in the Amazon Jersey cheapo range :

Highlander £2.97 delivered from Amazon Jersey

Thunderbirds (2005) - Yes I know, but only £3.49 delivered from Amazon Jersey

Aardman Classics £4.97 delivered from Amazon Jersey

National Treasure £6.97 delivered from Amazon Jersey

If interested, there is a big list of Amazon Jersey stuff on my site,
which occasionally turns up some cheapo deals.

Martin Scorsese Presents The Blues: A Musical Journey £30.97 (RRP = £69.99)

7 DVD's containing documentaries (approx 90 mins each) by Directors such as Clint Eastwood, Mike Figgis, Wim Wenders & Scorsese himself charting the history and influence of Blues music, from its beginnings to modern times.

Each disc (except the Eastwood one I think) contains between 30 & 60 mins of extra performance footage or full renditions of songs that are not in the main feature.

This is a great series and I regretted not recording the BBC broadcasts. I've been waiting ages for this to come down to a reasonable price and this is a bargain in my book.

Don't forget it's 10% cheaper if your a member of Amazon's Rental service. :smashin:

Thanks Babscabs, that's got to be worth a shot! Let's hope they honour it.

EDIT: guys, check your orders for 3rd Rock...it doesn't look like they are going to honour this one.
