Whilst the rest of the world slumbered through another Sunday, Amazon announced they are to open a new 'digital media information' hub at the Glasshouse Yard in the Capital where they will take 47,000 sq. ft of office space on the 8h floor.
The hub will play home to hundreds of Amazon employees as they work on the development of LoveFilm and Pushbutton to take their next generation of Film, TV and a range of other digital services forward.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson was delighted with the news: "Amazon's investment propels us well up the league table of global tech cities and we thank them for their vote of confidence."
