Amateur calibration of TV for PC and Nvidia Shield

Novice Member

I got a i1Display Studio today and have already calibrated my PC monitor with DisplayCal. It was quick and easy, I had to lower Red and that was it. Eventually I got a profile that was installed.

However, I'm uncertain how to calibrate my TV. It is a Samsung Q95T (same as Q90T I think but with One Connect-box). I have an Nvidia Shield connected for shows and movies. The TV is also connected to my PC and I use the TV for PC gaming.

HDR in Windows 10 is always enabled.

  • Should I disable HDR in Windows when I calibrate the TV for that input?
  • What about the Nvidia Shield? I can't use a profile on it, so how do I go about to calibrate it?

Thank you!

Edit: I should mention that when I calibrated my monitor I only picked correction as "LCD PFS Phosphor WLED family" and pressed "Calibrate & profile".
