Every so often the floppy drive on my pc rattles away whilst I am on line. With all this talk of firewalls and open ports I wondered if this is whats happening, or am I just being paranoid? Must give up eating those cookies;)

Doubt it's hacking. A hacker would access your C: drive, not your A: drive. Sounds more like one of your programs is trying to access a file on the floppy - maybe something you've installed from floppy in the past. That would irritate the hell out of me as it goes. Go into Task Manager and look at the processes and try and figure out what it is. Presumably you have anti-virus software?

No I dont have any virus software:blush: I only have my faith dont open anything with attachments unless I know exactly what they are.

I will have a look in the Task Manager. Cheers
