    Hi,

Got a Denon 550, and Sky+ 160. Basically, last Sunday the box died. Went into standby and wouldnt wake up. No worries. Sky came out and replaced it.

I wasnt home when the engineer popped round. My brother was. The engineer basically plugged everything back into place.

From what I can see, all cables/scart/optical cable etc are in the right place.

However, when all is on - no sound comes out of the speakers. I can only get sound out of the tv speakers.

If I play a dvd, surround sound plays fine.

The Sky+ box is identical to the one I previously had.

Am I missing something obvious here? Does something need to be reconfigured?

Out of interest, on the remote control - what should be selected on the little black switches?

    cheers

Mmm, managed to sort it out. Was something obvious. Input mode was reset. I dont mind making schoolboy errors like this.
