The reason I ask is my PJ accepts the input signal of all major video formats:
    Video(CVBS) S-Video (YIC) ,NTSC3.85,4.43,PAL B,G,D,H,I,N,M&SECAM B,D,G,K,K1.L
    Component :YPbPr,RGBsync,RGsogB.
    EDTV/HDTV:480p,575p,720p(50/60),1035i/(30),1080i/25/30AUs,1080p/(30) ,
To quote the manual" The PJ will recognize these standards & adapt to them automatically "
But when I check system info it just tells me video imput signal is YPbPr ,is this correct ? I am using a Pal version of HALO 2 ,do I need an import version to see Pro Scan ? thanks in advance ........Jim

You don't need a import vesion of any game to get Prog-Scan so you should be getting a prog-scan signal from your xbox, so in therory your projector should be telling you this, do you have a prog-scan DVD player?, if so when you connect it via component does it tell you its prog-scan, or does it just say YPbPr like the xbox does? or does it say something different?, in which case it could be that you have not soft-modded your xbox correctly.
