    I have all the superbit dvd's i want :clap: but im still on the ultimate quest for the best picture quality, so is there any other similar style dvd's with excellet PQ/SQ worth checking out?

    Well basically you are looking for any well encoded dvds! And there are plenty. Look at dvd reviews and if they score highly on PQ or SQ then there you go!

    Anything by Criterion normally has an amazing picture quality, they spend lots of time getting the picture cleaned up and the contrast right, not forgetting that the encoding is top notch as well.

    Check out http://www.dvdbeaver.com, they have some great Criterion vs the rest comparisons.

    You Can Get "Hi-Bit" dvds in Japan, which are like Superbits.

    Just buy good DVDs. SuperBit® does not equal quality it equals good marketing.


    Blame those crazy Merkins for accepting snake-oil DVDs. They'd buy anything with a fancy label.
