I have my 360 & Dreamcast hooked up by my TV's single VGA connection, and I'm loathe to spend £15 odd on a switch box since I don't really need all the functionality they provide. Is there an alternative such as a double ended VGA cable? Two ends into one etc? I have component & optical versions of these, and they both work fine with no visible quality loss with one device working at a time...

Dunno about that, but if you're looking a kvm at a decent price, I may be able to help you out. I have one with 2 cables. Stick a wanted ad in computer components buy and sell and see where we go.
