With the latest offer prices I'm considering a purchase of a 42PW7 panel at the moment and I know that the general advice is to use the JS RGB-VGA converter for SCART. However, I have a Denon 3805 receiver which can switch component inputs. I was considering using the JS RGB-Component converter for my Freeview box and taking the output from this, along with component feeds from my DVD player and DVD recorder, to my receiver. I would then take the output from the receiver to a Component board on the PW7.
This has the advantage of only needing one signal cable going to the panel (and only one input board) with combined audio/video switching.
Any thoughts? Is the JS RGB-Component converter any good?

I agree. That is exactly the way I have my wiring setup too. I also have the JS box as well.
