    Guys,

Comet have finally said I can take the 40v3000 back.

Now as these dont seem to be in stock anywhere, I am going to have to look at another set.

Why do you want to exchange the v3000?

Great news! I'm still looking for an alternative myself. After seeing the Samsung F86 in store when I took my V3000 back I had my heart set on it, but now after reading comments on here I'm glad I fought off the impulse to take it there and then without reading any info.

I hope that you find something that you can be happy with this time. Good luck.

    Energie,

As per my previous thread really, both myself and the poster above had issues with noise interference (sp) and motion blur enough to put me off that set.
Might not be a problem with v3000 in general as others seem happy, but I dont think they stock them anymore.

Another option would be the Samsung LE40F86 or the Philips 42PFL9632D

I'm edging towards the F86, any more options?

Shame as I was being drawn to the F86.

So between the Tosh and the Philips?

What about Samsung M87? It's a similar price + a lot of ppl seem to recommend it.

The faster response time and 100Hz along with the 25000:1 contrast ratio on the F86 makes it more appealing to me personally. I may pick mine up later today.
