Alternative to Sony HT ST5000?

Hi everyone, looking for advice on an alternative to a Sony HT ST5000.

I’ll spare you the long story - but after 2 faulty units I have had a full refund on my HTST. It was a lovely system when it worked, but now I’m on the look out for a replacement Atmos wireless system.

Budget is up to £1500.

Wasn’t a big fan of Bose, but unsure on the LG SKY10. Was unimpressed by a Sonos play bar but again that could be the setup in my local curry’s.

Any advice greatly received!

Hi there,
I would strongly suggest the Samsung HW-N950 (Atmos & DTS:X) soundbar. I also had, well still have it, the HT ST5000 mine was working fine, but the Atmos experience was very disapointing. Ive only had the Samsung for a week, and it's very very good - 7.1.4

Thanks Tony, wasn’t aware Samsung did one so will see if I can get a demo locally
Samsung is probably favourite, next up would be the LG SK10Y bar at £720. Not as good as the Samsung, but pair it with the rear speakers and it's an impressive (and cheaper) setup.
