    Hi guys,

I have finally managed to convince my girlfriend that we need a plasma TV, however I am not allowed to buy anything greater than 37"

After reading alot of reviews, the best choice seem to be the Panasonic TH-37PA30. The only problem is that my girlfriend hates the design of this screen. She finds it utterly ugly. I have to admit that I partly agree. So - now I am on a quest to find an equally good 37" screen in the same price range. So far I have not succeeded. There does not seem to be any 37" screen in that price range that have the same picture quality as the Panasonic

    1. Are there any good alternatives?
    2. If the answer to wuestion nr. 1 is NO, do you know if there will be any good alternatives in the very near future?

I would really appreciate some feedback!

    Regards,
    ErikX

Ummm....the TH-37PW7 won't have a built-in tuner, will it? Without a tuner I am afraid that it's not interesting for me

    Hi Erik,

you could always check out the TH37PA20. Theres nothing between the PA20 & PA30 regards Pic quality. The biggest differences are styling. Like yourself, I didnt like the Style of the PA30, but the 20 is a much nicer looking screen in my opinion.

It comes with a table top stand but not an equipment rack like the PE30 Viera.

If you look around, you can pick one up for well under £2k.

Cheers - shame it's more than the PE30. Any benefits (other than if you like the look)?

Whats the big deal about having built in-tuner??????? European PW7 does have an option of a tuner via an external box... Trust built in tuners are not what they are cracked up to be!!!!
