alternative to a Logitech Harmony

Can anyone suggest an alternative to a Logitech Harmony? The alternative would have to be able to string commands together such that one button press would switch on my Mac Mini, Switch on my Sony LCD and set the input to the Mac Min and then start the PLEX application on the Mini.

Ordinarily I would go with a Harmony but previous experiences with Logitech have been disappointing, so prefer not to go with this brand.

Judging from this and other forums Logetch does seem to have cornered the market in remote controllers, but I was wondering if anyone has had experience of another brand.

I have a max budget of £125

Thanks for your suggestions

Hi Hornydragon,

Thank for your suggestion. but I think the pronto device are way too pricey.

Anyway may be I'm answering my own question here but I think a Philips Prestigo SRU8015 might be what I am after. I've read a few reviews elsewhere and I looks promising and it comes in at £68 which is half my budget.

I'd like to hear from anyone that might have tried this and a Harmony One?
