Alternative Software to use ?? Any suggestions ??

I just tried Moovida and it is pretty good, i can get the album art and the like working fine and all play well. But im only looking for something that has videos on the software, not wanting to have pictures, music (will use itunes instead) and internet related things. Is there any software like moovida for videos and movies only that you dont have to have the rest with or can select not to show them??

ive tried XBMC and thought its look awesome but couldnt get the thing to work with the album art so dumped it

You can cut down the menus in MediaPortal in the same way you can with XBMC. It has some nice music features and add-ons. That would be my recommendation if you couldnt get joy with XBMC.

Currently using VMC with MediaBrowser. Find it good if you use media center studio to disable all the other menu's. Looks nice and simple then.

Know what you mean about xbmc took me a while to get my head round but once I did I was impressed. Found it nice and fast and loved the auto detect of frame rates. However it doesnt support blu-ray playback so went back to VMC with PowerDVD 9.
