    Does any body have this unit and do they think the display backlight is extraordinarily bright? It doesn't matter if the display is flat or tilted or what setting is selected for contrast all LCD items/icons can be seen all the time even if they are not selected.

    On my Alpine there is a facility to either control the lcd brightness via the deck, or link it to the cars wiring loom, so that it dims when you put the car light on.

    Have a search on www.talkaudio.co.uk to see if any of the guys there have the same unit. You may already know the site, we've have alot of info there.
