    Hi
Just set up my AMBRI unit up. Looks the business, however......the dimensions measured on the website of the depth being 468mm is from the outside to outside only. I've just measured the depth of the shelf for you and you get 440mm of space to fit your equipment in.

Although you get four holes in the backing board to route your cables through, I had to cut two extra holes for the power cord and for the video connections of my Denon receiver else the door didn't close. So I doubt you'll get your amp in unless you're ready to do a bit of DIY to it.

I am looking at this canbinet as well. I do not seem to be able to find anything else in this price range. Would it fit the following kit? or are there any suitable alternatives, which are reasonably priced?

Pioneer VSXD 1014 AV receiver 42 cm wide, 45 cm deep, 18 centimeters high
Philips DVD player 44 cm wide, 34 cm deep and 8 cm high
SKY HD box 40 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 8 cm high.

ALternatively, would the smaller version take all this kit as well??

I bought one of these only to find my Yamaha 757SE was too long when speaker cables with banana plugs were attached. I ended up leaving the back panel off when assembling - structurally the stand is fine, you can just see slightly more of the wall behind it than otherwise.

    cheers

..................so, my Denon 1906 amp would fit in this unit.................as long as I make a few more holes for the component leads?

The amp gets pretty hot. Is yours ok in there?

Do IR remotes work ok through the glass?

(Best price I have found is at Empire Direct - £164.98 delivered)
