allowing internet sharing

hi,
i need to allow internet sharing to connect to xbox live how do i do it?
if i go to control panel, network connections i just get a blank page...? thats how microsoft say to do it anyway.
any ideas please

I use ICS (internet connection sharing) for xbox live through my pc...not the best way admittedly but, hey it works.

I can't remember mate off the top of my head, sounds like you're in the right area, though I had a bit of trouble with my firewall too (zonealarm)

Try FAQs, there's one on there for ICS, should do the trick. :)
 
Zonealarm needs to be set at medium security level in order for it to pass the info, I did run ICS for a while and then moved to a wired router.

Or specifically allow the ports that xbox requires in zonealarm (or other firewall) on your trusted zone.

You can find the ports used on Xbox live website.
