Well...I am! I have a Panasonic TX32PB50, and apart from very slight ghosting on footie which affects loads of 100Hz TVs, I'm well happy with it. Picture quality is superb, built in DTS sounds great when the sub-woofer is turned up, and out of all the TVs I considered when purchasing - it certainly looks the business.

Anybody else love their TV or are you all a load of moaners!!:D

    Love my Panasonic 36PF10 :D

But then when people are happy with something they seldom post about it on forums like this. People are most vocal when they are unhappy with something :D

    I also like my TV.

Its only a Sony KV28FX20 28" widescreen but I am very pleased with the picture quality. Don't use the TV sound so can't comment on that side of things.

I agree with Rochdale, you don't often see people posting about an item they are pleased with. More often when they are unhappy with some aspect of it.

Perhaps we should have a new section on equipment (not just TVs) people are very happy with.

    Cheers
    Greg

I'll second the comment about the Panasonic 36PF10. I also have a 32PF10 for bedroom viewing and both, to me, are excellent.

They both improved further when I set them up properly with Avia and VE a few months ago.

Great idea, but I think such a section would cause flame wars sooner or later :D

    Something like this:

Seriously though, it would be useful to know what to buy rather than all the things not to buy. And there are things to be happy with. I have been happy with my Yamaha CDX-1060 for 10 years. I am happy with my AKG K-501 headphones. I would be happy to see a 'satisfied' section, and maybe it would cheer us up a bit to see manufacturers still have at least a little sanity left.

Too true. Generally, people don't come onto the forum to voice how happy they are about their TV (or any other piece of equipment for that matter). They usually seek out advice when they're having problems, which is why there are so many cries for help. :D

Some people do voice their satisfaction on the forums so we're not all moaners! Fact is forums are a great place for user feedback (good or bad) and thats what they are used for. If we had everyone happy then it would make us sick ^_^

There are indeed many people out there happy with their AV rig, many are happy with a 10 year old set, some with the latest plasma so really its down to user preference.

Plus it would help if all retailers and manufactures got their act together and delivered quality components first time out. Fact is it doesn't happen and you'll always get a bad batch or poor customer service. Thats life.

I was more than happy with my Daewoo 32"flat widesceens, but both went wrong so I now have a Tosh 32ZD26P.
It is very good,I,m am not sure the picture is as good as the Daewoo, but admitdly I havent seen a 32"w/s that was. However it is getting better as it settles down and beds in,and yes I am very pleased with it.

    Cheers

    Chuffed with my JVC AV32T25.:D
It has no RGB problems, It DOES have tilt facility, picture is fantastic, looks great even when turned off, and only cost £775!
Only "problems" are slight "dirty patches" visible on high contrast scenes and geometry a bit iffy on 4:3 mode - not worried by either of these though as the picture is SO GOOD.
Sky Digital looks fantastic via RGB and PS2 and DVD's look stunning via S-Video.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If you're unhappy about the 28" version not having a tilt mode, go for the 32". I thought 32" would look massive in my 13'x15' room but I could have gone bigger, no problem.
    :D :D :D

Only had it a week and learn as each day goes by.
Inch and a half black lines, sometimes horizontal, and mainly vertical on DVD's annoyed me-just found out that it is the make up of the DVD causing the problem-some have lines, some not.
    Amorphic ? Very confusing.
    Ignorance is very frustrating.
I think the setting up of this TV and the features buried inside are difficult to appreciate at the very beginning bus as time goes by the learning process stes in.
    I hope.
Still have the annoying silver shadows on the inside frame near to the screen when light scenes are portrayed-just been to visit a mate with a new THOMSON-exactly the same thing-the thin inside line around the screen should be blacl to prevent this problem.
I am extremely happy with the tv the 9607 replaced-29" 7 year old Nicam Philips-pride of place in the Kitchebrilliant picture still after all these years. Am now giving away the 13 year old 28" Nicam stereo JVC-picture still superb.
Hope the 9607 gives me the same good service.
