My wife and I watched The Passion Of The Christ last night and were both very moved with this very well made movie. Only thing the DVD did not have any extra features, which after seeing such an emotional epic we wanted to know more about the history of this story. Shame.

    9/10 for the dts soundtrack

yes I can see the 10.000 disk Bible special edition coming soon.

Spj1966 I think he has the same feeling for Jews as the Brits after seeing the movie.

Thank god they don't just slap you up on a cross these days for talking

i watched it on Tuesday and i thought that although it looked good it was a pretty empty experiance. i think to really enjoy this film you have to be a believer and i'm not. i thought it was violent in the extreme and in many ways quite laughable. The last hour was nothing more than violence towards Jesus with the odd flashback. I think if this film was about anybody else it wouldn't have got a certificate.

I don't think it will sell anywhere near as well as it will in the US. the other notable thing about it was the certificate its an 18 here in the UK, but in ireland its a 15!!!! its the only film i know of that has a lesser cert there than here.

Yea, I noticed that too. I think it's to do with the fact that we have no problem coping with extreem violence, it's sex we can't cope with :D

Maybey they lowered it because of the religious theme.Personally i thought it was excellent, and i'm not religious but it was uncomfortable viewing at times.
