    Hi!

Already have a Lenoxx HT500 Home Cinema all-in-one kit. Looking for any suggestions for a similar budget system with optical input, as I have just invested in a Sky+ box and wish to take advantage of the optical output to receive Dolby Digital.

    Any suggestions gladly received

    Right, well for audio quality.

Try to get a Davs 550 (has opt in) as the SC5 is a rip off for the same thing with a different face

    Or

The Panasonic SCHT 900, £350 from comet or is it currys...think its comet online stoor! Its a bargain and good if you want raised speakers!

Get the Samsung HTDM150 from skybuy for £199. It has everything you need including an easy multiregion remote hack and full optical input for dolby digital, dts, stereo and pcm sources. It also plays back vcds and svcds and is highly rated for picture and sound. It also looks really stylish and is very well built. You get a proper RGB scart connection for a superb picture. It plays back most dvd-r media without problems.
