    Hi Guys,

Been a lurker here for a while but this is the first time I've needed to ask a question myself.

I'm just in the process of getting a Pioneer 435XDE plasma and want a suitable DVD/amp/speaker package to go with it. Basically I'm after a player with component or HD output, I need at least one optical input (got a switcher for other sources) and a decent set of speakers. The only real limitation (other than budget, doh) is that it’s going in a cupboard so can't be any more than about 350mm deep to leave enough room for cables etc.

I'd really like your suggestions on this, I've been looking at the Denon DHT-550SD for its good selection of inputs/outputs but the speakers don’t really suit the room (wrong colour wood according to SWMBO) so I’m open to suggestions !?

Thanks in advance for any input,

    Kev.
