    Hi

Well for that price i'd reccomend my system or the Pioneer equivelent. Thats the Sony Davs 550 (which is getting hard to get) or the Pioneer DSC 313.

Take a look at the thread " Sony Dav - s550" in this section of the forums to give you an idea of what the system is like

Sony DAV S550 for £300 or less, but get 'em while you can.

I've just posted some comments on it in the thread nearby

I managed to pick up the panasonic SCHT900 for £323. it will cost about 20 to unlock but in my opion it really is worth the extra 75 quid, its in a totally different class to the sony davs550

dixons have it at 249, do a google search for 7.5% off promotion code and ur mate will get it for 327 (i ordered on a free delivery day)

The Sony DAVS550 is an ideal system for someone using component output but it doesn't feature rgb output only a reasonable if slightly grainy s-video connection. As long as you can live with this its a good system.

Sony DAV-SC5, replaced the DAVS550 and has RGB Scart. You can pick it up for around £319 Multiregioned up. Slimline Unit, Very good picture and decent sound.
