    Total price £160

    Based on Pricing:
    i7 3770 3.4 ghz CPU & Fan at £80 (LGA 1155)
    Motherboard £20
    330w PSU £40
    Case £20
    DVD drive
    Internal fan

Please note that you would need to add: A HDD, Ram, GPU, keyboard + Mouse for this to work.

Was originally bought from Ebay, in good condition. No box or warranty from Dell. All works fine, lighting etc. Was supplied with a GTX 660 that I upgraded to a 760. In order to get the 760 in the case I did have to cut away some of the mesh at the bottom of the case which is a little ugly but unseen when the side panel is attached. Recommended the side stays on for cooling anyway. I will post some pictures if there is interest. Postage/delivery/collection to be agreed. Not massive or heavy, a nice little gaming unit that will easily play Batman at 30FPS (little joke there) No seriously will play Tomb Raider at 60fps on Ultra (without TressFX of course), about 45 FPS on Witcher 3 at 1080P on high. Still a fast processor. The case will take a HDD and a SSD.

    Alienware X51 R2 Specs - CNET

Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
    Payment method: BT or PPG
    Location: Farnborough, Hants
    Advertised elsewhere?: Advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

OK, looking at buying/building a system for a friends son, (On a very tight budget!) You may have seen the thread.. !

I could add these bits in but pricing wise I could only offer...£130 delivered. in the hope that I can get the other bits for £120 (going to be tight I know!)

let me know what you think and hopefully you are the Del Monte man.... He say YES!

Could go to £140 as I'm a sucker for a good cause. Might cost me £15 to post. I work near Heathrow is that's any good for delivery/collection? Will throw in an old spare HDD if you like. What do you think?

Thanks for the speedy reply.. Sounds promising.. What size HDD is it.. I was thinking Small SSD and a HDD, so this might make sense at £140.00

Thanks spooky. 320 would be too small. I'm thinking 500 at least or 1tb. How about checking out postage costs and seeing if we can get nearer to £130. I'm sure parcel monkey with code perhaps would get a fair bit cheaper postage?

Hi, also interested, don't need a hdd.
Am based in London so collection may be an option.
Can you confirm the specs, is the r2?
As the link shows different specs?

    Thanks

Hi. That's the only link I could find, apart from the CPU chipset that's the exact spec when I first had it. Also when I ran the Alienware and Dell diagnostic programs it was showing as an X51 R2. I think the R1's didn't have the 330w PSU. I would prefer a sale with an exchange in person and that way you can decide if you are happy face to face.

I'll take it for the £140 in post #3 and can meet in heathrow... assume the case is in decent (no damage/major scratches) condition other what you have mentioned and that with the bits missing it will work fully :-D

    cheers

Thanks Steve. The case is in good condition and we can meet at Heathrow and you can decide in the flesh with no strings attached. I stated I would prefer a exchange in person and Steve B offered the new price of £140. I believe as he offered first this is acceptable. I will refer to a MOD if you disagree chelleon?

Unconditional offers no longer take preference, the seller is free to deal with whomever they choose.

Took some pictures. You can see the lower part of the case where I turned the mesh to get the 760 in. Only cosmetic and invisible once the side is on.
