Does anyone out there have more complete info than the ultra vague descriptions given by every e-tailer, movie and even Alien fan sites? Will the Legacy box be worth hanging onto or will all the old extras appear on the new package?

What of the new edits? An hour added to Alien 3 - surely not? And I live in fear of the Dallas cocoon scene being re-inserted into Alien, it'll ruin the development of the creature's cycle in Aliens. Still, I'll be there to see it on the silver screen.

Early reports indicate DTS tracks for all 4 movies.

Remeber reading something on Digital Bits, who are supposed to know whats on the set, but aren't allowed to say anything.

They said that the Alien Legacy documentary is definetly not included.

So people might want to hold on to the old boxset if you want the documentary.

Will the films be available separately? A mate has Aliens, and wants Alien; he doesn't want to have to buy the boxset.

Any news on what is happening with Alien3  Is it a new Director's Cut? And what about Aliens - will it be only the directors cut or will the original version be included too?

    or more correctly:

'Extended and original theatrical versions of all four Alien features'

from the Fox leaflet scanned into the R2 project.

its gonna be a 9 disc box set

so this how i think its gonna go

    Alien:

Disc 1: theatrical cut and Extended Directors Cut
    Disc 2: Special Features

and the same with the other 3 films

and the final 9th disc more features

but each film with 2 cuts on 1 disc and a DD5.1 and DTS Soundtrack!!! theyll never get it all on will they

unless there is the film and then the extended scenes inserted when you select the extended directors cut:rolleyes:
