Any thoughts on last nights opener, Alias?
Can any one tell me where I may have seen the gentleman, who was doing the tooth extraction, torture. I seem to think he is English.

    tvtome.com has the show listed http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-3451/epid-76118/ .
The agent is listed as Lo Ming and security dude as Philip Tan. I found him familiar also and going by his resume it's not surprising.
The show is an obvious no-brainer but enjoyable as such with predictable stereotypes - bumbling Q nerd etc. The fiance was gratifyingly American and so dispatched. And I liked the way the torturer's instument was returned to him . Gotta like it for that by not whimping out and actually doing what an agent would presumably do - on reflection I'd imagine most people would like to pay back that dentistry.
Jennifer Garner does the vulnerable but kick ass well enough for this and will give next week a go, especially as a pilot is a harsh arena to be judged from solely. She's also easy on the eye like T'pol in Enterprise which aint a bad thing in my book. Just hope she doesn't lose the vulnerability to svelt young thing twirling too many big nasty dudes with ease.
I've suddenly had a flash of Requiem for a Dream. Rambling. Sorry

Not a bad site you posted, one thing they omitted was, it was Sydney's father that took the assignment to kill, his daughters intended.
    Look forwards to next weeks.

    Hi All,

Watched and taped the Pilot Episode, and bar the first 20 minutes, it was quite good. However, like others have already said, the pilot episode is never a good way to realistically assess a new show.

Will definitely be keeping an eye on this one, as have heard it has done superbly in the US.

Only downside to the show, so far, is that it seems so closely linked to "Dark Angel", James Cameron's TV show - a little too closely linked for my comfort. Hope "Alias" doesn't rip that off though.

I’m a big fan of the X-Men, also Mutant X had a lot of connections with the X-Men, yet I never even noticed its going. It seemed the same story every week , the guy in the white wig tries to capture a mutant, Adams team rescues them, the guy in the white wig disposes of is number one.
Was that the last of it? If it was I’m not bothered, would not want it to drag the X-Men down.

Sadly, despite the apparent and personaly preferred absence of Mutant-X from Sky, there has been a second season commisioned. It's a terrible series. Absolutely awful.

Roger Moore, superb. This may add that something extra that's needed. No doubt his eyebrow is less costly to hire now!?
I didn't mind the Alias bird at first but now I keep getting distracted by her Simian forehead. A fringe is definately the way for her. The one schwing moment had to be the pvc/latex dress she briefly had on the week before last - couldn't help but rewonder how so little can look so much with what women do with their reach-for-the-sky boobs.
Anyone seen Witchblade? I've dl some eps online and looks pretty good.
