Alexander: 3 DVD Limited Edition (region 3) is up for £16.99 Released 5 may
From CDWow this morning :
We are writing to you regarding your order for: Alexander: 3 DVD
Limited Edition (5.1/ DTS) by Region 3
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we are not able to obtain any
stock of this product.
Just spoke to CDWow - it is STILL on their site. The problem is that the size & weight of the boxset has "caused them to increase the price".
It's now £18.99 - but personally, I'm still going for it as it looks quite nice.
it says the feature is 275 minutes long!!! Surely that's wrong? that's nearly 5 hours..
I did see that. I think that's wrong also - unless it's some SERIOUS Director's cut!!!
I think it's more like 175 and is a typo.
It better be My bum is feeling sore just thinking about it!
Is this a quote from the film?
Just before the director said "Action!"
3 disk version now removed from CDWow site.
2 Disk DD/DTS 5.1 now present for May 5th release for £11.99
Is your £18.99 3 disc set order still valid?
Mine's still showing as 'pre-order' on the 'My Orders' page, but they cancelled my original order at the cheaper price a few days ago.
Did the person you spoke to at CDWow say they would definitely get some of these in stock, albeit a limited amount?
They said they made a mistake regarding the postage hence the cancellation etc. They did say that they had sourced them however - I would imagine the pulling from the website is that they've now filled the allocation they have.
But it's CDWow - so there's STILL a chance it'll get cancelled - although they've never done it to me personally. But yes, my order is still valid and on pre-order.
Thanks for that.
£18.99 3 disc set now back on CDWow's site.
I cannot believe they are making a Limited Edition out of a total failure such as this one. AVP and Phantom of the Opera are others that comes in mind.
The only reason for doing this is trying to recover some of the lost ticket sales at the Box Office. Why on earth should we waste our money on this crap.
Make some Limited Editions out of the truely great films, that´s what I like to see.
