    That's confusing. It says it's a "Free To View" box, implying that you'll need a viewing card.

    For £33 I will give it a go if my local Aldi has them.

    I seem to remember there being an Aldi Tevion DVD recorder some time ago, you may be able to find reviews for that which might give you a picture.

    Nowt confusing about it at all. If you select the item, quite clearly is Freeview box.

    I have that box and even in a very poor signal area (with no coverage according to freeview site) and a VERY old arial, my signal is just fine, signal strength 58% quality 98% :) on most channels

    I really recommend this box, and for £30 you cant go wrong

    is the aldi one top up tv compatible?

    also, does it output in RGB?
